“Frida’s Diego” by Nik Ridley

This piece is my interpretation of Frida Kahlo’s relationship with Diego Rivera. The various colors in the background represent the beauty they gave to the world, with the characters exemplifying a heaviness of heart and profound beauty. Diego’s face is contorted and comical, and Frida’s demeanor is one of both adoration and pain. Though convoluted, they both stood on the same ground.
